Delete Your Vortie Account

You can request the deletion of your Vortie account and its associated data at any time. There are two ways to do this.

Option 1 — Delete in the app

Open Vortie and go to Settings → Delete Account, then confirm. This permanently deletes your account and the data described below.

Option 2 — Request by email

If you can no longer access the app, send an email to vortieapp@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify your identity and process the request.

What data is deleted

• Your profile information (name, username, age, bio, and photos)
• Your statements, opinions, and votes
• Your matches, conversations, and messages
• Your location and matching preferences
• Your account credentials and sign-in identifiers

What may be retained

We may retain a limited amount of information where required by law or for legitimate purposes such as security, fraud prevention, and abuse investigation. Such information is kept only for as long as necessary — typically no more than 90 days — after which it is deleted or anonymized.

How long it takes

Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days. Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
